USD 466 Active Bids
PROPOSAL REQUEST
Scott County Schools - U.S.D. 466 - is requesting proposals for a Commercial Package Insurance Policy to meet their property and casualty insurance needs.
U.S.D. 466 reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. U.S.D. 466 also reserves the right to accept a bid other than the lowest bid.
BID SPECIFICATIONS
Only proposals meeting all bid specifications as listed herein will be considered as valid. Any items differing from these specifications must be clearly noted as bid exceptions.
- Proposed insurance coverage should be for an annual term to become effective July 1, 2024 at 12:01 a.m.
- Proposed insuring companies must be admitted to insure in the State of Kansas by the Office of the Kansas Insurance Commissioner.
- Proposals must include all proposed insuring companies' current A.M. Best Rating information
- All proposed insuring companies must have a current A.M. Best rating of "A" or better, with a Financial Size Category rating of "X" (10) or better.
- If any proposed insuring company is a "Pool" or "Cooperative", the following items must be included:
- A complete copy of the Pool or Cooperative's By-Laws
- A complete copy of the Pool or Cooperative's most recent Audited Financial Statement.
DEADLINE
Sealed bids, clearly marked as "INSURANCE BID" must be received no later than 1:00 p.m. on June 3rd, 2024 at 1:00 PM at the following address:

Bids will be opened and read at this time and will then be reviewed during the regular meeting of the Board of Education on June 3rd, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Bidders are encouraged to attend the meeting to explain their proposals and answer questions.
